PARIS — Belgian police issued an international warrant on Tuesday for a man connected to fugitive Salah Abdeslam. Mohamed Abrini was seen with Abdeslam at a gas station two days before the attack, Belgium's state prosecutor said in a statement.

Abrini was driving the Renault Clio model vehicle Abdeslam had rented an was later found in the 18th district of Paris on November 17. A wanted poster described Abrini as "dangerous and probably armed."

Abdeslam has not been seen since an international warrant was issued for him. Authorities believe he may have gotten cold feet right before the attack on the French capital.

Meanwhile, French police have revealed another attack was planned days after the massacre on November 13. According to Paris prosecutor Francois Molins, suspected ringleader Abdelhamid Abaaoud and another man were planning a suicide attack on the Paris financial district on November 18 or 19.

The attack never took place as both men were killed during the raid in Saint-Denis on the day of the planned assault.

Authorities have not disclosed how they deduced another attack was imminent.

Belgian police have arrested and charged five people with terrorism offenses in connection to the attacks, while France has arrested one person, Jawad Bendaoud, who is expected to be charged.
