S. Korea invests over US$760 million in clean energy R&D in 2019

South Korea has invested more than 7-hundred-60 million U.S. dollars in clean energy R&D in 2019,… to help accelerate global clean energy innovation.
At the fourth Mission Innovation conference in Vancouver, an official from Seoul's industry ministry said the country increased investment by 61 percent compared to 2016.
Seoul's goal is to invest over 940 million dollars by 2021.
Mission Innovation was launched in 2015, …with 22 nations and the EU pledging to double their support for clean energy by 2021.
The members have pledged a combined investment of 30 billion dollars over the next five years.
