Hi friends,
In this video I am going to disclose about the deal which is going to take place between the parent company of TikTok, ByteDance, a famous Chinese short video platform and Microsoft. ByteDance is also negotiating with Reliance Jio. Negotiations are going on with both Microsoft and Reliance Jio regarding the total worth, technology transfer, ownership transfer, data protection, security concerns and purchasing stakes of TikTok.
India banned 52 Chinese apps due to data protect and cyber security threats from china and also to take counter measure against Chinese infiltration in Line of Actual Control in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir. This decision of India to Ban 52 Chinese app in India has paralysed these Chinese app companies especially TikTok.
The parent company of TikTok, ByteDance has found that most of it's users and creators are based in India and most of it's revenue generation is from Indian origin. Thus it's no more commercially viable to own TikTok and have decided to sell the company to either America based Microsoft or India based Reliance Jio. Tough negotiations are going on and hopefully either Microsoft or Jio will crack the deal and TikTok once and for all will become an American or Indian company and thus might return to India for public entertainment and do justice to TikTok creators.
